As part of a student project, we were tasked in creating the branding and packaging for a fictional company. My fictional company, King & Market, is a handcrafted small batch, specialty chocolate company that resides in the heart of Charleston, South Carolina.

In the development of the branding for King & Market, we sought to touch on the history of the brand and the history of Charleston, SC. We developed a line art mark that shows a few main features of the city of Charleston. Combining this with unique, handcrafted logotype brought the small town feel to the big chocolate industry 

This project mainly focused on the development of packaging for the chocolate. Utilizing a vintage Charleston, SC map pattern, We developed a chocolate line that works as a system but also stands alone by themselves. The final packaging gave the chocolate a low country, homemade and handcrafted feel mixed with the high-end elegance of King & Market’s product and the Charleston lifestyle
