01. Project Details
The HidrateSpark brand is a nationwide smart hydration brand that offers the world’s smartest water bottle to alert you to drink water and track your hydration with either bluetooth or tap-to-track technology.
From beginning my position at HidrateSpark, I sought to reformat our photography style to better connect with our customers on a direct, authentic level. The old photography style was a mixture of over-stylized, dark and dramatic imagery that lacked emotion and didn’t properly connect to our customers. Additionally their customer UGC was lacking and resources available for the marketing team were in a tough spot.
My goal was to develop a photography style that allowed the brand to better connect with our customers authentically and emotionally to establish HidrateSpark as a truly lifestyle brand. Below are some selects from a variety of shoots both internally and externally to gain diversity in model, location, and style of imagery. Imagery was to lean towards real UGC style yet air on the side of premium and modern.

This photography style became the primary lifestyle imagery used across all marketing channels for the HidrateSpark brand. Here are some placements that these images have lived, including website, paid media ads, streaming media ads, organic social, and email communication.
